Our Lower 1 music pupils have been working very hard this term and have created their very own Planets Suite inspired by Gustav Holst’s The Planets. The pupils came up with a planet and wrote a piece using the musical elements pitch, tempo, dynamics & sonority to describe and represent physical elements of their planet such as size and colour.
We are pleased to present a brand new solar system, the Planets Suite:

The compositions were then arranged and performed by music staff and are available to listen to here.
