Haywoods
The Haywoods boys have continued their ready steady cook competition with lots of teamwork on show for the friendly competition.
There were lots of fun socials in house and out. One that went down extremely well was the trip to Welford Road to watch England Rugby.
Wharflands
Wharflands’ boys have been involved in many house and boarder socials this half term, one of which was there first pizza social in 1584 with Rushebrookes.
The house came together to celebrate matron Sue, who completed 100 terms in Wharflands. Congratulations and thank you Sue!
Chapmans
Chapmans boys threw themselves into the boarders socials and outings with a number eager to get to Leicester for the rugby to watch England play Portugal.
Chapmans came away victors in the house basketball going unbeaten against the other boys houses.
Barrow
Barrow were victorious in the pool winning house waterpolo as well as house swimming which meant they retained their title for the 3rd time.
Interhouse hockey saw some close competition but Barrow did well to clinch another piece of silverware as the juniors came second but the seniors winning, making them the champions overall.
Stevens
Stevens tutors treated them to a big Chinese banquet followed by a quiz which brought out the competitive side in some of the girls!
Rushebrookes
Rushebrookes invited back their Form 7 alumni for some hot chocolates and a catch up.
One of the socials this year saw the girls meet Wharflands for an evening in 1584, some of them having their first social in the new space.
Buchanans
Buchanans enjoyed some fun socials this year. The year groups split with Forms 3 and 4 heading to Haywoods and Forms 5 and 6 coming to them for a chilled evening watching the last games of the six nations.
