1st XI Hockey Dinner to celebrate a fantastic season of hockey

The boys’ and girls’ 1st XIs came together at the locally loved Wisteria Hotel in Oakham to celebrate a tremendous hockey season.

Coaches and Form 7 parents joined the squads for one final commemoration to their successful seasons and to hear a story or two shared by members of the teams.

Prior to the main courses, the captains,  took to the stage to speak about their experiences this season and some memorable moments along the way.

Following this, their coaches, Alex Cooper (speaking on behalf of Director of Hockey Neil Evans), and Katie Long, touched on the achievement and improvement that each squad and individual saw throughout the season before moving on to the 3 awards for each team.
