Form 6 Politics students stood as party candidates and made campaign speeches on policy areas including the Economy, Law & Order and Foreign Policy. The political parties being represented were the Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats, Reform UK and the Green Party.
The candidates then took a variety of questions from an audience in the WA, such as their future action on the Ukraine conflict and how to deal with youth crime.
The candidates thought on their feet and performed very well under the pressure of scrutiny!
This hustings event was not only a great way of engaging with the General Election but also acted as a useful revision session for the A-Level Political Parties topic!
