Form 2 pupils wrote entries to the Global Young Journalist of the Year Awards 2024 within English lessons. Pupils had the option of 10 different categories when planning their entries.
The Global Young Journalist of the Year Awards cover a range of topics, allowing pupils to choose from 10 categories, from technology to media.
Form 2 pupil Ted was shortlisted for his fantastic entry into the politics category (age 7-13). He was joined on the shortlists by fellow pupil Manaav who was shortlisted himself within the Equality category.
Jessica entered into the Science Journalist of the Year (7-13) in which she came runner up. A truly impressive achievement beating many pupils across the world.
