Our popular Music at Lunchtime series has continued online this term, sharing new weekly performances with the School, parents and a wider audience. These Wednesday recitals provided some welcome escapism for many in the middle of a busy working week.
We enjoyed a great variety of recitals, including solo performances by pianists, singers, violinists and on the horn by pupils in the Middle School & Upper School. Our Form 3 music award holders also presented a unique chamber music recital just before half term. The standard throughout has been exceptionally high, which is even more impressive given that most performances were recorded from home. Three of our talented members of staff also treated us to performances: Mrs Emily Holland & Mr Steve Foster presented a joint recital of solo music for violin and trumpet, and Mr Harry Jacques performed a recital of Finzi songs.
