Oakham’s aspiring Hispanists were given the opportunity to experience a lecture on ‘The Role of Proselytism in the Spanish colonisation of Peru’ by Fabian Horrocks, followed by a ‘Question and Answer’ session with the Admissions Tutor and current undergraduates.
Head of Spanish Cameron Pauls said, “This was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to gain an insight into what studying a language at degree level entails. We encourage pupils to continue to develop their language skills after School, and this event was ideal for helping them find what options were available.”
